About Tiny Gems
Tiny Gems is a family and a shop. Owners Carolyn and Alan share a relentless passion for gemstones and minerals. They have been rock hunters for over 20 years, and their collection has gotten almost out of control! So why not open a shop?
Alan was born and raised in the Yukon Territory, in the far Canadian North. His father is a real bushman, and spent most of his time outside with his children. Alan has always had a keen interest in geology, and has a background in Mining Engineering.
Carolyn met Alan while living in the West Kootenay mountains in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. She has a background in Graphic Design and Visual Arts, and has been creating jewelry for over 20 years.
Now we want to share our knowledge and love of stones with you. Our collection features stones and crystals we have found ourselves, from across the planet. Some are specimens that we have just cleaned up, some have been made into wearable art.
Great specimens and knowledgeable staff! Feels good to be able to support close to home. Thank you for gifting the area with more natural healing modalities!"
Just left their store and everything about the experience was fantastic. Gorgeous pieces and superb customer service... We will be back!"
"Loved this little shop, the crystals were beautifully displayed, small to large crystals available and the prices were affordable. The gemstone jewelry was my favorite! Thanks Tiny Gems, it was worth the trip!"
